MISSION

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italy (ww.rfkitalia.org) is the Italian branch of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, which works to fulfill Robert Kennedy’s dream of a more just and peaceful world.

Based in Florence, the RFK Human Rights Italy pursues this goal through its main educational program Speak Truth To Power, spread across all over Italy and addressed to teachers and students of every grade of school.

THE FLAGSHIP EVENT FOR MEDITERRANEAN CHALLENGES

The initiative aims to support projects of great impact in favor of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers by creating a connection between private and public corporate leaders, key actors and experts through three main phases:

  • Establishment of an ad hoc Steering Committee composed of representatives of companies (sponsors and partners), experts from academia and international organizations;
  • Second assessment and final selection of projects;
  • The first assessment was conducted by RFK Italy’s staff that shortlisted 10 projects submitted to the attention of the rest of the SC members.

The 3 final projects selected will receive a grant of 3.600€ by the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Italy, destined to partially assist them to implement such projects that would advance the causes with migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
