SUMMARY:Auction of World Bonds and Share Certificate - Veissid Auctions
DESCRIPTION:Auction of World Bonds and Share Certificate – Veissid Auctions \nhttps://www.veissidauctions.com/catalogue/115d0b63354196a368ed543bb04dc070/06cb610ff41c6049734fc27ec2fb036f/auction-of-world-bonds-and-share-certificates/ \nMike Veissid was introduced to Bonds and Shares whilst working in the coin department of Sotheby’s in 1973. His interest in this specialist and little known subject soon overtook his love of coins and M. Veissid & Co. was formed in 1976. A shop was soon opened in London’s New Bond Street Antique Centre\, later moving to Grand Buildings in Trafalgar Square. Mike is a founder member of the Bond & Share Society. \nMike has organised many auctions over the years\, many in conjunction with specialist fairs and many just postal before the arrival of the internet! \nAfter some 15 years of organising Scripophily auctions at Spink in London\, the auctions from January 2024 have returned to the family business\, based in Shropshire since 1985. \nMike has also started to develop his online reference catalogue along with several regular contributors on the large website www.scripoworld.com. Its a work in progress attempting to catalogue everything! Mike says ‘If you don’t see what you are looking for on the website\, let me know and adding it will be made a priority’.
